Plushenko miss World Championship - but come to "Stockholm Ice"

European Championships gold medalist and Olympic silver medalist in Vancouver, Evgeny Plushenko, missed the World Championships in Turin, 22-28 March, due to a tåskada. But he comes to Ericsson Globe April 2 for the figure skating ice show in Stockholm.

SVT Teletext spread the news on Friday that Plushenko miss World Cup due to injure - and that his participation in figure skating show "Stockholm Ice" would be in danger.

This speculation was rejected by his agent on Friday evening, after talks with televised sport.

- Plushenko has injured a leg and can not do himself justice in the World Cup - among other things, he can not do a quadruple. Sick leave for 14 days will not affect his participation in the Stockholm Ice Ericsson Globe on April 2. He looks forward to the visit to Stockholm, with great joy.

(Hi everybody.

I am so happy. Today I met Evgeni Plushenko - first in "Ericsson Globe" ice-'rink', in Stockholm, (yes he is already here in town). and - second (few hours ago) we met in a restaurant, together with Yana, to get something to eat.

For a long time, I have tried to get an interview with him, in connection with some writing about him. And at last it succeeded, here in Stockholm, so, I am very happy.

I was interested to know about him, to hear about his drive - which I find very unique, very special - and I think many people, could 'learn' something about it, with the intention or purpose to get inspired in life.

I have taped a great part of the interview, and I will bring it on here later - and the interview will show some new issues from his life and thoughts, some of it, he has not spoken about before.

Above, on top of all that, he promised to come to Copenhagen (my city), here once in the summer, before him going to Germany. Where we could talk about the possibilities to make a ice skating show here in Copenhagen. I promised him and Yana to show my beautiful city. But above all, I am very happy, that he and Yana invited me to visit them in their home in Saint Petersburg. That I am looking forward to - to visit them in the wintertime, in Saint Petersburg. I have been told, it should be such a beautiful city. I have never ben in that city before, only in Moscow.

So now, I am tired, but happy. I am sitting here in my hotel room, listen to some gentle music while doing some yoga exercises, and thinking of the beautiful day.

Шоу в Стокгольме.
Шоу началось рано, в 16 часов, поскольку здесь сегодня предпасхальный выходной.
Сразу напишу очень милые моменты: Стефан толкнул речь, как ему приятно здесь быть, а весь зал спел Стефану Happy Birthday :) (есть маленькие видюшки, выложим позже). Одну девочку покрутил на руках, остальных расцеловал. Зал был очень хороший, здорово реагировали, очень тепло, живо.
Было два номера NMQP и Телль. К сожалению, оба с ошибками - в первом номере бабочка на втором прыжке, во втором с третьего же упал. (есть видео номеров и финала, будет завтра)Все остальное на мой взгляд безукоризненно, с полной отдачей. После перерыва мы пересели к выходу на лед, перед нами стоял Хенер в наушниках, мы у него поинтересовались не будут ли показывать это шоу по ТВ, он сказал, что не знает, но камеры вроде были, так что шанс есть. После Телля я испугалась, потому что Стефан выскочил со льда очень стремительно, даже чехлы не надел, за ним тут же Саломе побежала. Не знаю, что произошло. Но на финал уже вышел с улыбкой и танцевал. Вышел на бис и делал вращение. Рядом с нами стояла женщина, которая планомерно собирада автографы с фигуристов, она несколько раз звала Стефана, он либо делал вид что не слыт, либо правда не замечал. Потом уже на финале посмотрел на нее помахал, но так и не подошел. Все же, мне кажется, подустал он от людей. Сегодня вообще падучая была на шоу - Таня Волосожар упала, Алена упала, Стефан, даже Плющенко сделал один из прыжков с касанием. В гостинице естесственно уже стояли тьолпы поклонников после окончания,мы не стали добавлять к толпе еще людей и прошли мимо :)
