GRANDE SUCCESSO DI "CAPODANNO ON ICE"

AL PALAVELA IL 2012 INIZIA CON UN GRANDE SUCCESSO

Un pubblico numerosissimo e caloroso ha decretato l’enorme successo di "Capodanno on Ice", spettacolo con cui il Palavela di Torino ha inaugurato l’inizio del nuovo anno.
Madrina della serata una splendida Cristina Chiabotto che ha presentato la lunga sequenza di stelle del pattinaggio artistico mondiale che si sono esibite in coreografie artistiche spettacolari, alternandosi a momenti di cabaret con gli interventi del gruppo comico "I Turbolenti" e a numeri di acrobazia con la coppia Nelly Zhiganshina e Alexander Gazsi, il tutto impreziosito dalle musiche dal vivo della rinomata Orchestra Cantelli.

Ad alternarsi sul ghiaccio in un susseguirsi di emozioni sono stati Stephane Lambiel, Shizuka Arakawa, Evgeni Plushenko, Valentina Marchei, Samuel Contesti, Anna Cappellini - Luca Lanotte, Surya Bonaly, Stefania Berton -Ondrej Hotarek e John Zimmerman -Ina Kyoko.

l pubblico del Palavela non ha tradito le attese ed ha saputo accogliere con tutto il suo entusiasmo e calore i campioni del pattinaggio che ormai riconoscono a Torino ed al Palavela un ruolo di primissimo piano nel panorama delle capitali mondiali del ghiaccio.

Lo show è stato trasmesso in prima serata lo stesso 1 Gennaio da Italia 1 con il commento tecnico a cura della giornalista sportiva Lucia Blini e della cinque volte campionessa italiana di pattinaggio Silvia Fontana.

"A season that will see the return to international competition tsar Evgeni Plushenko, animated by a strong fighting spirit to prove he's still the best despite his 29 years (a lot for a sport rather exhausting physically in better shape when it reaches around 20 years) and the numerous knee surgeries. "I'm not afraid of losing - has declared the champion - won many times, and Europeans are comfortable and confident. My main goal is still the Olympic Games in Sochi 2014, which is why I'm back once again on the ice. Before then, however, I will have to undergo a new knee surgery & maybe I won't be @ the World Championships in Nice. We'll see, now I'm focussed on the Europeans!

1.1.2012 - DUE SPETTACOLI EMOZIONANTI

Due show in tre giorni, questo è quanto Plushenko ha concesso ai suoi fan italiani.

Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di vedere in anteprima mondiale i nuovi programmi di gara subito dopo i nazionali di Russia. È stata l’ennesima conferma che, signori, Plushenko va visto rigorosamente live. Pur avendo visto in streaming i nazionali, solo dal vivo ci siamo rese conto davvero che i costumi erano bellissimi e i programmi avevano l’intensità tipica ed unica di quelli del pattinatore che ha portato al pattinaggio di figura tantissimi appassionati. Inutile dire che vale la pena seguirlo negli spettacoli proprio in questo periodo in cui, essendo rientrato alle competizioni, sta mantenendo il suo stato di forma ad alto livello e, senza la tensione della gara, è possibile vedere il Plushenko che gioca col ghiaccio, col pubblico, interpreta, vive la musica, oltre che alzare il livello tecnico dello spettacolo stesso.

Ma veniamo agli show. Venerdì 30.12.2011 all’Agorà di Milano abbiamo assistito al Milano Golden Gala, spettacolo che si è rivelato al di sopra delle nostre aspettative. Un piccolo stadio, atmosfera familiare. Siamo andate per vedere Evgeni oltre che, ovviamente, anche gli esilaranti Besedin/Polischuk, e i bravi Berton/Hotarek e Marchei. Invece abbiamo visto uno spettacolo ben costruito in cui tutti gli interpreti sono stati bravissimi ed originali. Ottimo il presentatore/pattinatore Andrea Vaturi accompagnato da Barbara Fusar Poli. C’erano tante promesse del pattinaggio italiano come Della Monica/Guarise, Alessandrini/Vaturi, Kolbe/Caruso, Guignard/Fabbri, Mascarello, Rio, la Compagnia Ghiaccio_Spettacolo e la squadra di sincronizzato Dandelion. Naturalmente la serata ha raggiunto il suo clou quando lo zar, nel suo costume scintillante, è sceso in pista. Un pubblico stupendo ha accolto calorosamente l’esecuzione dello SP Storm. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato la sequenza di passi in linea retta che, in perfetto stile Plushenko, è stata un crescendo di intensità fino a raggiungere verso la fine, grazie anche al cambio di ritmo, la velocità che ha sempre caratterizzato le sue sequenze e che manda in delirio il pubblico. Al termine dell’esecuzione Evgeni ha ringraziato per il sostegno il Presidente dell’ISU Ottavio Cinquanta presente in tribuna a sorpresa e, successivamente, ha fatto i soliti ringraziamenti a tutti per il supporto (da ricordare che il giorno stesso è giunta notizia dell’autorizzazione ISU a partecipare ai Campionati Europei nonostante negli ultimi due anni abbia preso parte ad una sola competizione ed abbia quindi un punteggio minimo insufficiente. L’autorizzazione è stata concessa in armonia con lo spirito per cui è stata istituita la regola in questione che aveva come scopo d’impedire ad un gran numero di atleti di basso livello di partecipare agli Europei). Il programma libero Tango Roxanne, altrettanto intenso, ha ottenuto il solito consenso con standing ovation della tribuna. Quello che ci ha lasciato senza fiato è stato soprattutto vedere la quantità e l’ottima esecuzione dei salti. Non che non ne fossimo abituate, ma, sapere che ha potuto cominciare ad allenarsi nei salti solo 10 giorni prima dei nazionali, ci lascia davvero stupefatte circa la sua capacità di recuperare abilità tecnica in breve tempo. Avevamo già visto qualcosa di simile quest’estate a Pinzolo dove, dopo sole tre settimane dall’operazione, aveva già cominciato ad eseguire i quadrupli. Ricordiamo che in autunno Plushenko ha ancora avuto problemi al ginocchio e che gli è stata praticata un iniezione errata che ha ritardato di un altro mese la preparazione per il rientro. Al momento ha problemi per una ciste ed è prevista un ulteriore operazione che sarà eseguita in data da definirsi. Non è possibile quindi fare previsioni a lungo termine. Resta confermata solo la partecipazione agli Europei fra tre settimane.All’uscita un sorridente Plushenko si è fermato a fare foto e firmare autografi.

Ma le emozioni non erano finite, perché due giorni dopo Evgeny ci ha nuovamente deliziato partecipando a Capodanno on Ice trasmesso poi in prima serata su Italia 1. Purtroppo abbiamo potuto incontrarlo solo velocemente prima dello show e lui, cordiale come sempre, ha scambiato qualche parola con noi augurandoci Buon Anno. Ad accompagnarlo, anche questa volta, l’inseparabile moglie Yana coi suoi biondissimi bambini. Lo show presentato da Cristina Chiabotto ha visto la partecipazione dell’orchestra Cantelli, del gruppo comico “I turbolenti”, di acrobati, oltre che di Bonaly, Marchei, Cappellini/La Notte, Contesti, Berton /Hotarek, Zimmermann/Kyoko. Uno show il cui livello ha raggiunto il picco nelle esecuzioni di Lambiel, Shizuka Arakawa e dello zar. Tre stili totalmente differenti e non paragonabili tra loro in alcun modo e che ci fanno apprezzare la bellezza del pattinaggio da diverse angolazioni. Una Arakawa solida tecnicamente ma talmente leggera da non riuscire a sentire neanche il rumore delle lame sul ghiaccio.Un Plushenko che, soprattutto nel Tango Roxanne, tenuto sapientemente come ultima performance, è apparso con una carica energetica e una grinta incredibile. Una vera “forza della natura”! Il ghiaccio si sollevava ad ogni movimento delle sue lame. L’espressione a tratti grintosa, a tratti intensa, lo sfavillio del costume nelle trottole, l’interazione con il pubblico, i salti snocciolati uno dietro l’altro con grande naturalezza (parliamo anche di combinazioni 3T+3T, 3A, ecc..), sono tutti ingredienti di una performance che in 4 min. circa mostra un’atleta dalle 1000 sfaccettature in grado di suscitare sentimenti contrapposti in un lasso di tempo così breve da rendere le sue performance una forte esperienza emotiva. Non è difficile infatti notare tra il pubblico qualche spettatore particolarmente emozionato. Quale altro pattinatore riesce a fare questo? Merita, come minimo, una menzione il suo 3A, già visto ai nazionali di Russia, che pare ulteriormente migliorato. Senza tema di smentita possiamo affermare che è uno dei più belli al mondo.

La grande attesa ora è per gli Europei di Sheffield. Non siamo in pista ma il livello dell’adrenalina sale anche a noi. Forza Evgeny!!

Two exciting shows

Two shows in three days, this is what Plushenko gave Italian fans.
We had the privilege of watching the new programs as a world preview, just after the Russian nationals. Folks, it was another confirmation that undoubtedly we have to watch Plushenko live.
Even we have watched the RN on streaming, only by watching him live we become aware of the beauty of this costumes and the intensity of his programs. They had the unique pathos of the programs performed by the skater who gave figure skating lots of fans.
Needless to say that it’s definitely worth to watch him on the shows in this period, because he has just come back to competitions and he’s in excellent shape. Moreover, without the anxious atmosphere of competitions, it’s possible to watch Evgeni playing with the audience on ice, living the music and, besides that, making the show technical level higher.

the show reached its climax when the tsar entered the ice rink, wearing a sparkling costume.
A wonderful audience welcomed the SP “Storm” heartily. We appreciated the straight line step sequence very much. It had a perfect Plushenko-style swell of intensity that reached that typical speedy at the and (thanks to the change of rhythm) that drives the audience crazy.
At the end of his performance, Evgeni thanked the president of ISU, Ottavio Cinquanta for his support. After that, he thanked all for their support (it’s important to notice that on the same day the ISU officially allowed Evgeni to take part in the EC, even if he has only taken part in one competition in the last two years, and so he didn’t reach the minimum score to compete in Sheffield. They gave Evgeni the authorisation because this rule has the only aim of preventing lower – level athletes to compete at the EC).
Evgeni’s free program, Tango Roxanne, as intense as his SP, got a good success and a standing ovation. The quantity and high quality of jumps left us breathless. Actually, we already got used to it, but we knew he started training on jumps just ten days before Russian Nationals, and this really made us astonished about his capacity of recovering his technical abilities in such a short time.
We already saw something like this last summer in Pinzolo: there, three weeks after surgery, he already started jumping quads. Last autumn he had other problems with his knee and so he had to postpone his comeback. At the moment he has some problems because of a cyst, and he has to undergo surgery in the next months. So, it’s not possible to have long-term forecast now, but it’s confirmed that Evgeni will take part in the EC.

At the end of the show, a smiling Plushenko signed autographs and took photos with his fans.

But emotions weren’t over: two days later, Evgeni delighted us by taking part in the show Capodanno on Ice.
Unfortunately, we could meet him just for a short time before the show, and he wished us a happy new year. Inseparable Yana and her blond-haired children were with him.

Evgeni wisely kept Tango Roxanne as his last performance and showed energy and an incredible push. He’s a real force of nature! The ice rose after every movement of his blades.
His expression was sometimes strong, sometimes intense and his costume shone in the spins. He interacted with the audience and did jumps one after another with great naturalness (he also did combos 3T+3T and 3A, etc…). These are the ingredients of a 4minutes performances that shows Evgeni’s 1000 facets, and this makes you feel so many different feelings in such a short time that his performance becomes an intense emotional experience. As a matter of fact, you can easily notice that some people in the audience were moved by it. Which skater can make people feel this way? At the very least, Evgeni deserves a mention for his 3A, that we already saw at Russian Nationals and seems to be even better. Without fear of confutation, we can say that it’s one of the most beautiful 3A in the world.

Now we’re waiting for the Euro Championships in Sheffield. Actually, we’re not on the ice, but our level of adrenaline rises, too. Go Evgeni!
