I found this post under the video:
In Skate America, 2011, the commentators said that 2010 was the only time, since the introduction of the quad, that the gold medalist did not do a quad. They said the point system was immediately changed "so that would never happen again." If the programs were rescored with the changes, Yevgeni would have won. His comments contributed to the change, but he was robbed of the gold. They could have given him a gold medal, too, like in 2002, a problem was solved by later giving a 2nd gold medal.

That is very interesting. The american commentators changed their opinion? Or what?
- 3Sal/3toe/3toe/3toe from VDP and Takahashi laughs and claps for him
- Rippon quad Lutz try wasn't bad.. slips right into Miner and helps him up
- Chan looks really solid in his free skate run-thru. Non-stop choreography and such fluidity/power behind everything. No hard jumps here, yet
- Rogozine has an Urmanov-like ability on Axels, way outside the circle in the air but then lands them perfectly. Nuttin but Stringz is music
- Fernandez looks more polished now. And actual choreography through movements rather than flashy arm stuff? O that's right, no more Morozov.
- This Bolero is by Gustavo Montesano for those curious. Triple flip attemps from Majorov. Majorov gets compared to Alexandr Fadeev in looks.
- Kaitlin Weaver and Florent Amodio went shopping together. I think Andrew Poje might have modified an old costume of Evan Lysacek's ;)
