I just found out that Zhenya will be in San Antonio on Dec. 8 for the Kaleidoscope show! Unfortunately, I am going to miss him! I will be in Chicago!!! I want to cry. I can't seem to find any other dates. Surely he will be coming to Dallas or Houston??? Anybody know?

Star-Studded Event Featuring Skating Champions and Musical Performances In An Unforgettable Night

San Antonio– November 5, 2010 – This December 8, Olympic Champions Scott Hamilton & Dorothy Hamill, will host “Kaleidoscope,” a holiday spectacular on ice featuring figure skating superstars plus an array of Grammy Award-winning music talent. “Kaleidoscope” is a celebration of cancer survivorship, pairing awareness with the talent and beauty of champion ice skaters and musical performances. Starring in “Kaleidoscope” is an unprecedented line-up of skating champions including Three-Time U.S. Champion Johnny Weir; Olympic Silver Medalist Sasha Cohen; Olympic Gold Medalist Evgeni Plushenko; World Champion Kimmie Meissner; Olympic Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette; Four-Time World Champion Kurt Browning; Two-Time US Champions Rena Inoue & John Baldwin; and Five-Time European Champion Surya Bonaly. The music talent accompanying our skaters will be announced shortly.

“Kaleidoscope” from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will air nationally on FOX on Sunday, December 19, 2010 from 4:30-6:00pm ET immediately following the NFL. Tickets for the 7:30pm Wednesday, December 19 taped performances at the Alamodome are on sale now.

The title and imagery of “Kaleidoscope” represents the blending of all the colors tied to awareness of specific cancers. Our goal is to provide relevant information for America’s 12 million+ cancer survivors and their caregivers. This effort is being supported by an unprecedented collaboration of some of the nation’s finest Cancer Not for Profit organizations.

Ticket Information: Tickets for “Kaleidoscope” at the Alamodome on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:30pm are on sale now. A special $15 holiday ticket price will be available for all reserved seating. I am so very disappointed. I can't believe I am going to miss this! As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY show in the US. We NEVER have anything this big in our city. Why all of a sudden? He will be here! Here! In my hometown and I can't be here for it!
